He is the illustrator of the best selling book, America's National Parks, A Pop-Up Book. Dave was born in York, PA., and received a BFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia in 1982. He has worked for both the Oakland Tribune and San Francisco Examiner newspapers as a staff artist. In 1994 he moved to Bend, Oregon to establish his freelance career.
